Real-time Player Alerts via email, text and/or web - We realize that for everyone, time is money and too
much news is noise! You need to be able to filter the news to receive only what’s relevant to you. That’s why, at Waiver Wire, we
allow you to set up customizable filters that will enable you to screen the news sources by team and individual NFL players. That
way we can deliver, in real-time, player injury alerts, news updates, and expert analysis for only those players that affect your
fantasy team(s). If one of your players gets injured, you can be the first to replace him with the best available substitute. To
better fit your lifestyle, you’ll have your choice of email or text alert formats.
Player Comparisons - Our in-depth research has shown that incorporating “predictor variables” based on
tested statistical models together with historical predictors from past playing statistics increases the probability that the expected
number of points players are projected to contribute to a gamer’s fantasy football team is as accurate as possible. Waiver Wire has
incorporated both quantitative and qualitative “predictor variables” (specific football knowledge for individual players) because each
positional quantitative projection system varies slightly because of positional nuances. This results in a highly accurate fantasy
points player projection. No matter the position, or the time in the season, our Player Comparison software will use the most
up-to-date news and stats to project future player performance. The results incorporate points allowed by position and strength of
schedule so that you can make better sit start and trade decisions during the season. You may also be first to see an opportunity for
a pick-up on the waiver wire.
Strength of Schedule Rankings - Provides a statistical measure of the fantasy points allowed by each team to
a given position. Results are then ranked to show difficult and easy games. Results can be customized to your leagues scoring system
so it’s your leagues strength of schedule. A powerful tool to help you determine who to play and provides additional insight if you
are presented with an offer to trade.
Points Allowed - This tool shows how many points each team is giving up to each position. You can select a range to analyze and the results
can be reflected using your league's scoring system to make it more accurate and easy to use. This tool is helpful when deciding which of your players in each position you
should start. You'll be able to quickly see how many points the opponent they are facing that week is giving up to their respective psoition. This information makes
for better sit/start decisions each week.
Player Projections - Waiver Wire projections are multi-variable and statistically precise with expert qualitative adjustments.
They are sortable and customizable to your scoring system. See the Full Season Pass section below for details on how the projections are calculated.
